Women characters - wives, girlfriends, significant others - what are the most creative way your fangirls have dealt with them to get them out of the picture for slash?

Myself, canon took care of that with death. Others?

I find a well placed elevator shaft is helpful in disposing of unwanted female characters. Oh, wait. Wrong legal show. Damn Mad Cow. But hell, it'd still work! And I hear Cheyenne Mountain's got one hell of an elevator shaft....

Well, being in a prison made things easier for my fangirls to avoid female characters. There was one pesky woman who had the hots for me (who doesn't?) but in canon she got her head chopped off and my brother pitched it in a dumpster. That worked for awhile, but apparently, next season, she'll be alive again. I don't even want to read *that* fic.
